Family Mediation
FDRP or Family Dispute Resolution is a specific type of family law mediation which is now compulsory for separated couples who have a dispute about parenting matters, to make a genuine effort to resolve the dispute through mediation. Family Property matters can also be resolved on a final basis using FDRP.
Mediation
Mediation is a form of a private and confidential facilitated discussion between you and the other party to a dispute. This process is designed to assist you with an unresolved legal issue.

Our Parenting Coordinator will facilitate discussions with the parents to assist them to comply with the Orders, communicate effectively and to assist them to adapt to their changed roles.

At McCarthy Mediation, we have four Senior qualified and registered family dispute resolution practitioners who are also Senior and experienced family lawyers, with one a former Magistrate and one also a Parenting Coordinator.
Mediation Fees
Mediation saves time and money. Fees can be paid by one party or by both. Intake Assessment meetings for both parties are included in our fees. (Conditions apply)
